[Help] [Error 1011] How to fix and curropte baseband or bootloader

hello everyon

I restored but bootneuter got stuck at "Determining current settings". So now ive restored maybe 20 times trying different things like: restoring to 1.1.1 in DFU (get 1011 error), restoring to 1.1.4 (1011 error), restoring to pwned firmware (bootneuter gets stuck at "determining current settings"
ierase with kiphone not work
i have no wifi,no sound ,no call,etc NOW

i have 2 mount this problem

HELP PLEASE

when you say restore are you using dfu mode???

try 2.1
u can always downgrade to 1.x.x

I had a similar problem, uninstall itunes, apple software support, bonqour, quicktime from control panel/add remove program. Restart the system... install itunes 7.5 and restart the system. Now restore your iphone with 1.1.4 firmware using itunes 7.5
Make sure you are in dfu mode. screen has to be black (like the phone is off) and itunes should show that iphone is found in restore mode.
next restore it.
Now uninstall itunes 7.5 and restart the system.
install itunes 8.0.035 (not 8.0.1) and restart the system
now restore your iphone to 2.1 firmware.
now use quikpwn 2.1 and just follow the instructions on how to jailbreak/unlock your iphone...
Rmr this only work for iphone 2g (old one)... won't unlock iphone 3g

Hi to all. It seems that we are more people in this situation each day. You can find several threats about this problem, but nothing that really works 100%. In my case, as many other people, the most I have is a jailbraked and activated 1.1.4 iPhone (or a 2.0 useless one), without wifi, GSM, Bluetooth, sound, etc. and the message "Repair Needed" in the screen. I hope we can find a solution to fix this problem, but it seems not to be so easy, after all (I tried it all: ienew, ieraser, bbupdater, and the rest of the methods except the TestPoint). So, the only thing that we can do is to be patient and wait for a specific application that forces the iPhone to flash the lost/corrupt BL and/or BB. Anyway, it could be very interesting that all of us post our advances regarding to this problem, so it could help people.

hi guys,, i m in kinda same situation,, my iphone 2g was working all fine ,, after updating to 2.1 ,, now my wifi is screwed it wont detect any wifi point (will keep searching), strangely it always works in the morning ,, for half an hour then just disappears and wifi will keep searching but wont find any wifi point all day long,, now i dont know what to do plz share any suggestion thankx

Hi Guys,
I had OTB 1.1.2 and unlocked with ziphone and upgraded t0 1.1.3 for almost 3-4 months working fine suddenly it start freezing and rebooting and would not respond except doing hard boot so i restored and upgraded it to 1.1.4 but the problem continued so i upgraded to 2.1 and unlocked with quickpwn.. but my wifi go screwed it just keeps on seaching network and then now it has turned grey i cannt even on and off my wifi toggle and some times when i get a call my phone doesnt ring nor vibrate doesnt come up from the sleep mode but the opposite person can hear a ring...
i have tried to go back to 1.1.4 unlocked it with iliberty also have erased with kiphone also but no luck...
Anyone if have solution pls help...i cannot go to the apple store also as i am in india and bought it from grey market....

This 1011 error/topic has been mentioned numerous times in the "Older Unlock" section.
I'm going to move it there because this has nothing to do with QuickPwn.
In short, there isn't a software fix for this (you may get lucky). Your options are: changing the commboard or you know someone who can replace the flash chip for you.

yes ,, but i had to make my iphone legit and take it to apple store,, with an o2 sim lolz ,,

the guy made a reset one phone settings,,

and replaced in 15 minutes,,

so i m quite sure it was communication board problem,

if it was software he would have reprogrammed it ,
