Default HELP! After upgrade to 1.1.2 iPhone not recognized by iTunes!

I received 2 iPhones from the UK today and followed the guidelines here. I first downgraded to 1.1.1 and jailbreaked sucessfully. The first phone had some problems during the jailbreak, it did not work on jailbreakme.com, I had to use another site from a post that I cannot find now. The second phone went through without a problem.
Then I took the first phone and tried to upgrade it to 1.1.2 as stated in the guide. I installed oktoprep and got the message that I could now upgrade. I started the upgrade on iTunes. It ran through without an error message.

The result is an iPhone that shows the connect screen (with the cable and iTunes logo) and the "Slide for Emergency" slider. I treid jailbreak 1.1.2, but it tells me that Oktoprep was not used on the phone. iBrickr 0.9.1 tells me that "Your Phone has not been freed yet". iTunes does not recognize the phone at all!

What can I do? I have searched the forum but could not find anything.

    Please help!

When I tried setting it to recover mode the third time, iTunes finally recognized the phone. I then reset it to factory settings and am now traing to downgrade again.

    That was a close one.
