[HELP] 1.1.4 ziphone -> 2.1 -> stuck in recovery

I tried to update (4 GB orig w/ 1.0.2) from 1.1.4 unlocked with ZiPhone to 2.1 - > First installing iTunes 8 and using customized 2.1 IPSW file and got 10?? error during the update.

Since than I've tried almost everything. I tried downgrading to 2.0.2 in both iTunes 7.7 & 7.5 - and I would get error 16?? or error 5 or error 1

I also tried downgrading to 1.1.4 in, again, both iTunes 7.7 and 7.5 => no luck at all => the phone is still stuck in Recovery Mode (yes I tried the restore in DFU mode also) makes no difference. I also tried QuickPWN and it crashes and I've tried iLiberty+1.2 to downgrade the bootloader -> still nothing. I've also tried the patched ZiPhone (by Kiremk) to iErase or Downgrade -> nothing the program starts and shows no signs of making any progress

ANY HELP would be greatly appreciated as my phone is totally bricked now!

already tried that, same thing...."Connect to iTunes" screen with the cable & the i(freakin)Tunes icon.....already tired to death from that.....

i did the same mistake as lio-lio did...i had iphone 2G with firmware 1.1.4 unlocked with ziphone...i downloaded itunes 8 and it asked to update to 2.1 and i did

now the phone is stuck in a mode where it says slide for emergency call only..!!!
how can i unlock it again??? how can i restore 1.1.4??? help needed urgently

are you uninstalling all of apple mobile components from your machine mobile device, bonjour, and everything apple. then reboot reload itunes 7.5 plug in phone enter dfu mode the hold shift click restore and select the firmware you want from your list. from there the phone will restore and the rest is simple use ziphone 2.5 not 3.0 and do it all. been there myself a couple months ago and i put in over 15 hours into it and finally gave up and called apple and forged a phone number from att and got some info from them that i just gave to you good luck and happy hacking!
