LOL
Your phone is fine man, dont worry!!!
Search the forum for a 1.1.2 unlock and do everything it tells you ACCEPT the parts with anySIM, just skip them!!

Also please note this is a week 45 phone with the very latest 4.02.13_G baseband version software...are you sure I am ok?
Sorry to second guess....I just don't want a $430 paperweight.

I have tried to restore using the iPhone1,1_1.1.1_3A109a_Restore.ipsw firmware but I keep getting the 1015 error and when the phone reboots it stays in recovery mode instead of loading the activation screen.

1.1.1 can't reflash your baseband, therefore you get the 1015 error.
To get your phone back to the activation screen, simply use:
Mac: Independance
Windos: iPhuc
There's plenty of tutorial around.

ibrickr
after it gives you the error just open independence for mac or ibrickr for windows for a few seconds and all will be fine

Ok so I ran ibrickr and was able to jail break the phone. I have my valid ATT sim card in the phone but the phone will not register with the GSM network. The icon in the top left is stuck at No Service.

just as an update at this point I am showing version 1.1.1 (3A109a) with firmware 04.02.13_G and Network shows as unavailable. I tried to run anysim 1.1 but that failed and said it could not unlock this phone so I uninstalled it.
I am still unable to get any service. I have tested 3 valid ATT sim cards and so far nothing.......

Is it possible that this solution would work? http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/show...hlight=service
