Hi - im still thinking about getting an iPhone to unlock - and i was wondering if i ever needed to restore if because it had corrupted would it be easy to do with ZiPhone? because this is the main reason why i am reluctant to by the iPhone.
Dont Buy It
dude if you havent bought one till yet... dont buy it.... you dont deserve it...
Hi, I've been reading through this thread hoping i'd be able to find someone in the same situation as my self. I have a 1.0.2, 03.14.08_g which was originally unlocked with iBrickr/Anysim back in September. Is it safe for me to follow the instructions or will i need to virginize? Also, can i just jump direct to 1.14, or should i even wait for 2.0?
Thanks in advance. It's a great guide which you've written.
You have to virginize first! You risk a brick if you dont.

even though it's for another solution, you can jump in at step 14 in post #1. You must have BSD Subsystem and Installer on your 1.0.2-iPhone.
Continue to step 20 but dont use ZiPhone, use iLiberty or Pwnage (both Mac or Windows).

iPhone Bricked, Please Help!
Please Help !!!
Well, I had unlocked/jailbroke(Do it all) my iphone(ver. 1.1.4) with
the ver. 3.0 of the ZiPhone software. Everything was working fine,
except the YouTube, so I "stupidly" decided to run the Do-it-all
All hell broke lose from there, the phone started the installation
process and got stuck at:
dyld: Library not loaded: libarmfp.dylib
Referenced from: /bin/sh
Reason: image not found
Its stuck there for ever, seems to be going in a loop and not finding
the image file. I tried the phone re-boot, but each time it gets stuck
Please help, my phone has become a brick!!!
so you try a reboot and run ziphone on it??? or does the process just start over and over without connecting to ziphone???
you can try puting the phone in DFU mode (http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1034) and then reload the firmware [shift + click on restore in itunes for windows and option button (i think its ctrl not sure) + click on restore on mac] after itunes restores ur firmware (restore to 1.1.4) then u can go ahead and activate jailbreak unlock but for god sake dont use ziphone and just use iLiberty, the you tube thing is only one of the many ziphone problems
post again if u have any more questions
