    @ riccja

From all the guides I read it was recommended to use the AT&T SIM. However, some users have reported success by following the process with another SIM card in.

    @ LOIZOS

I have taken a look at the guide and I believe you would have to follow these steps from the beginning as iUnlock was used. A couple of users have posted in this thread that the guide works fine for iPhones that have used iUnlock.

    @ andynyc2003

After you received the Successful Unlock message did you turn off and then back on the iPhone? Are you able to try another SIM card on a different network perhaps?

Thanks for the feedback. I will update the main post with your comments.

I found a problem after I replace the lockdownd file, I lost the usb connection. So I have to rename the old lockdownd file and put it back to restore the usb connection. Is there any idea to fix this?

why it isn't necessary to replace lockdownd in this method, while others need to?

Figured it out - I was using an adhoc connection as there isn't wireless where I am currently. A short trip outside to a local house with unsecure wireless and moments later i'm on the springboard Thanks for the help.
