I have an unlocked 1.02 iphone using tmobile sim.

Do you need the att sim to unlock once you revirinize and update to 1.1.1? I do not have that sim anymore. Any ideas?

I am having a problem - I get up to jailbaitme.com, and then this step -
14. Once Safari crashes it will send you back to the activate iPhone screen. Wait about 30 seconds and the iPhone should chirp and the animation over the slider will freeze and start again.

This doesn't occur. Safari crashes, and it returns to the activate screen. After about 30 seconds, the screen goes blank. And then nothing happens. Pressing buttons makes it wake up again, but that's about it. Any ideas?


I should mention I absolutely have autolock off.

Edit: Tried rebooting, same result :/

By the Way i tried on 2 phones one had unlock with anysim , and one with Carlos Guide with Esay Unlock they both work on this metod.

This happened to me too. Repeat the step and keep sliding the slider half way across the activate screen to keep the phone alive.

Hi. Thanks for your guide which is extremely thorough. I followed carlosvaldosta's (excellent) guide to downgrade and unlock a brand new 1.1.1 iPhone to 1.0.2 firmware which worked great:

I'm now keen to upgrade back to 1.1.1 and unlock and am wondering if this guide will work for my phone due to the way it was downgraded and unlocked.
