Hi miketbo85,
Sure, if you're keen to upgrade to 1.1.1. and have an iPhone running firmware 1.0.2. unlocked via AnySim 1.02 then you're in the same situation as me yesterday. Just follow the guide from the beginning. Mine is working 100%

I heard that iBrickr doesn't work with the 1.1.1 update, is this true? so, I won't be able to install 3rd party apps (& can't load my NES roms) ? thanks...

I have just found this on the [REALLY ULTIMATE GUIDE for Windows] Jailbreak-Unlock-Activate-YouTube Iphones 1.1.1 guide.
0. Put the AT&T SIM card inside the iphone (recommended) or you can use any SIM card as long as it doesn't require a PIN code to use it, you can disable the PIN in your actual mobile phone
[EDIT: is being reported the following by luigidelgado: "DOES NOT HAVE TO BE AN AT&T SIM, THAT IS INCORRECT I DONT HAVE AT&T IN MY COUNTRY. PLACE WHATEVER SIM YOU USE FROM WHATEVER CARRIER, BUT DONT REMOVE DURING THE WHOLE PROCESS"]
Hope this helps.
Ok, thanks. Just to clarify one more thing, during the virginizer process after running
./norz seczone.backup 0x3FA000 0x2000
I should (exit, or stay in mobile terminal?) and copy seczone.backup to my computer via ibrickr. So I should have the iphone connected to the computer and ibrickr running while I'm executing these commands in mobile terminal?
I've seen other virginizer pack folders with a "314secpak" and a "401secpack" file. Are these not needed? I don't see them in the kengz folder.

Thanks!! I successfully went from 1.02 to 1.1.1. The guide is great, but i used CARNAVAL to jailbreak because it worked only this way, i revirginized and unlocked it using this guide

Wow, those were amazing step-by-step instructions. Once I got Mobile Terminal working correctly, everything was perfect step by step. I actually went from a completely unlocked 1.0.2 phone to a completely unlocked 1.1.1 phone in under an hour INCLUDING the time it took to download all of the files including the 1.1.1 firmware. Amazing! GREAT JOB!

rjshearman,
great guide. Easy and simple. Thank you very much..!! I'm able to unlock and everything is working fully.
However, I can't connect to the phone using winscp and ping request timed out.
I think i have to install OpenSSH right? is it available in apptapp?
and how about Community Sources? do i need it for winscp connection?
GREAT JOB MAN!!!
[edit]
OK...got it. goto apptapp and install Community Sources. Then OpenSSH will be available. Install OpenSSH. Done. Connected with winscp.

I brickr doesn't work with 1.1.1. but some guys have managed to get it working (at least for file browsing etc). See this thread: How To: iBrickr and 1.1.1
http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=14440
@ blackdog
I left my iPhone connected to the computer through the whole process. I did not exit mobile terminal. When I got to that part I just opened iBrickr copied the file, closed iBrickr and continued on the iPhone.
@ miketbo85
The .ipsw file is basically a compressed zip file. Please make sure you have enough space on your computer. I also put this pre-step in, perhaps it will help:
Pre-Steps 02 - Uninstall all applications (except BSD Subsystem & Mobile Terminal, if installed). This may not be nessessary but I thought it couldn't hurt.
@ everyone else
Glad the guide has helped.
