Hey GeeZuZz! - I'm on the verge of trying out your method. I'm particularly interested in it since I used your original manual/SSH method on your iphone.unlock.no website to unlock my original 1.0.2 phones without any problems. Have you heard back from any other users ran into any problems with your method? I can confirm that all of my iPhones indeed have the 03.x baseband and are currently unlocked and activated on 1.0.2 with Tmobile...

I'm starting to panic! I need my iPhone!
Please restart your iPhone
AnySIM cannot unlock this phone. AnySIM will now quit.
Please turn off your phone and turn it on again after AnySIM quits.
What to do?
AFAIK, the only one who had problems had either 04.x baseband, or had already messed around with other tutorials first. I've got many confirmations that it works.

Heads up from Brazil!
I just do it... i folow the tutorial top to bottom, and it works perfectly!!!
Thanks man! It is fine and working....
Now i will test to see if the two problems that i have was resolved...
1 - After receiving a call, playback volume in ipod goes way low, and only is restored with a restart...
2 - One side of the earphone is a little slow than the other... but is no hardware, because already worked fine...
Will update soon...
Anyway, THANK YOU SO MUCH DUDE!!
Please Help me.. I´m stuck at very beginning
My iPhone is 1.0.2 used Anysim 1.0
When I type following:
chmod 755 *
launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
then appear this:
launchctl: Couldn't stat('/System/LaunchDaemon/com.apple.CommCenter.plist"): No such file or directory
Do I miss something to download? or what I can do?
From the way I understand the EDGE Settings Fix you do not need to perform anything yourself. Just install the fix and turn your iPhone off then on.
If you are unable to locate these files and replace them back then I suggest you restore to 1.1.1. and then just Jailbreak and Activate - you will not need to re-apply AnySim 1.1.
Do you see a '#' at the start of the line? After entering each line press return. You should then be taken to the next line starting with '#'.
Did you successfully upload the files to the revirginize directory? Also note that formatting on this line : ./norz seczone.backup 0x3FA000 0x2000
You must enter capitals and the chars in blue are numerical zeros (0) not capital O's.
Yes. Just start at the step Jailbreak and Activate iPhone Firmware 1.1.1.
The solution from GeeZuZz looks very good and simple. I'm just not 100% certain it performs a backup of the current seczone. As you've already mentioned make sure you only run this on a 03.x baseband.
Have you installed the BSD Subsystem? You may want to try and reinstall it just to be safe. Then turn your iPhone off then on again and retry AnySim.
Looks like you missed /Library/ from the command. Just type it 100% as described? Also include capital letters where indicated.
Yes, I have installed the BSD Subsystem... I have done everything exactly as described, but right now my iPhone is bricked. Know of anything else that might work?
I can, of course, try again, installing the BSD Subsystem a dozen times.
I thought you said above your iPhone was jailbroken and activated? You just couldn't get AnySim to work?

I have an issue for which I am not able to get any info. I got a 1.0.2 phone. It came unlocked. No installer.app on it.
I want to upgrade it to 1.1.1. I intend to follow this http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=13004 guide for this purpose. But I don't know which method was previously used (does this matter by the way?) to unlock my 1.0.2 iphone. Is there any way to check?
Yeah, it is jailbroken and activated, and the only thing that does not want to work, is the anySIM. I just picked the wrong word...
I used the virginizer on i.unlock.no, and I assume everything went ok. The firmware version is 04.01.13_G, and everything appear to be ok. It's just the anySIM-app who have decided to hate me and my phone.
