I have tried all the different how to on this forum and have finally found one and made it very easy to use... hope this helps everyone. trust me I had no idea what I was doing... and this took about an hour........

please not I accept no responsibility for this not working.

1. Use an unlocked and activated 1.1.1 phone
2. Virginize your phone with 0.4 through installer
3. Then update it it 1.1.2 via itunes to get the new baseband
4. Now restore it back to 1.1.1.
5. to get it out of itunes restore mode CONNECT TO IBRICKER
new menu will come up and if phone is red it will reboot phone all self
explanitory
6. Activate it and unlock it with anysim 1.2.1u,
get this from installer but add rep.frenchiphone.com and refresh
7. install BSD Subsystem and Oktotprep
8. UPDATE again to 1.1.2.via itunes
9. phone will be in restore mode leave it and now use the jailbreak 1.1.2
windows.bat file
10. when prompted by jailbreak to reboot close itunes and reboot your phone.

11. CONGRATULATIONS YOU ARE DONE !!!

DON'T FORGET TO INSTALL IWORLD WHEN FINISHED AND PHONE WILL WORK LIKE A DREAM.

Here is more easier guide... this one wors only for upgarded iphones and not OTB.

if you are on 1.1.1 unlocked and jailbreak

1. run octoprep on the iphone
2. update to 1.1.2 (clcik update not restore i itunes)
3. jailbreak using 1.1.2 jailbreak (there is a new one where activation and youtube are already working)
4. SSh Anysim 1.2.1u
5. Reboot the phone and turn on the AIRPLANE mode (this is important so that it won't crash summerboard when unlocking is running)
6. install iWorld
7. your done...

we have been using these steps it eliminates the need to downgrade then upgrade again. this cuts time doing the upgrade.

6. install iworld only if you are not in the USA


also can you confirm that via this process you can scroll sideways to your extended apps if there is more than 1 screen of icons on your springboard?

I am surprised not many have seen this process & made comment ?

Looking it over it make allot of sense & turning "airplane mode" on seems to be why anySIM 1.2.1u was not working in FW 1.1.2
