and there is no win tutorial...

A good tutorial, but he obviously didn't perform this himself or he would know that:

1. losing wi-fi after running ienew is everything but guaranteed.

and

2. after running iunew, you can only restore to 1.1.2., 1.1.1 won't load until after 1.1.2 has been restored the first time.

I dont know, but I think it's one of the best tutorials, so please make it sticky!

Btw, great tutorial - but only for mac

The core portions of the BL downgrade procedure are generic, performed on the iphone itself, and not related to either platform. The rest is just performing updates, software restores and jailbreaking for which there are many guides.

Enter the following mentioned in the tutorial:
Log into the iPhone via SSH with the Terminal on your Mac.
So I guess I can log in as well under Win.
