    i downloaded bbinfo from installer and it gave me the same info without me having to go through all of this headache search the forum for the source to put in installer

    What source? The standard sources don't have bbinfo.

    Editing binary .plist, .strings, .nib and .xib files:
    * on your computer: Windows tool / conversion website.
    * on your iPhone: convert those files in a terminal with plutil (installed with Erica Utilities) or edit them with iFile (Cydia links).

    Has the source changed ?

    I added the source www.trejan.com/irepo but I cannot find the application BBinfo nor Basebandinfo anywhere under install

    I found it perhaps it says somewhere that BBinfo is part of the hardware info package.

    UK phone - week 42 and bootloader 46 Never mind - I don't need the phone unlocked just yet... using it jailbroken and no problems so far.

    yes the baseband info is also found in the hardware info app, another source for BBINFO app is in rep.frenchiphone.com
