Very fast and stable method:

Necessary:
- jailbreaked iPhone 1.1.2 / 1.1.3 OTB with bootloader 4.6 only
- Internet WiFI Connection
- Installer (AppTapp)

Steps to follow:
1. Autolock set to never
2. Installer - System - Term-vt100 - for just in case
3. Installer - Source - Edit - Add - Add Source - http://installer.iClarified.com - ok
4. Installer - install - iClarified - Geohot Unlock(1.1.2, 1.1.3) - follow the instructions

Notes.
* The process takes just five minutes long. Until now, only good feedback on this method.
* In some situations, when working on a jailbreaked 1.1.2 iPhone BL 4.6 it is necessary to install and run iWorld from installer after using this method, if you can't make calls.
* some people are reporting an absence of finally unlock succesfully message, but the phone was ok after a reboot
* You may use http://i.unlock.no as Source at Step 3. There is also a very good tutorial at the site.
* some people report youtube crashes after unlock on firmware 1.1.1. Here is a workaround, thanks to ultra_tester001:
- Install Source http://i.unlock.no, if isn't yet;
- refresh again;
- Install from unlocking tools YouTube Activation (version 1.1.1);
- restart iPhone...

It is no more required to downgrade the firmware. It works on all firmwares, but only on bootloader 4.6

no you don't. i was on nate's 1.1.3 softupdate version when i tried iClarified's method. works like a charm =) trying to figure out if i can update my baseband now so i can use google maps =)

The same method, but you must first downgrade to 1.1.2 and jailbreak. Apply this method and then run Official DevTeam 1.1.3 Soft-Upgrade
