Grey No Wifi on 2G Iphone
Hello, about a year ago I tried to go from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 using a tool that I downloaded throught installer (I donīt remember the name). After I updated from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 I started to have the grey no wifi and no bluetooth. After that problem I started to use Pwnage tool, and the phone work ok, but still have the grey wifi problem. Any way to fix this??? My phone is a 8gb 2G Iphone.
Thanks
Jon

The only thing you can try is have the phone at 1.1.4 with BB bootloader=fakeblank and try the swifi fix by Dev Team. You can do that by using iLiberty + payload. If that does not work then you're pretty much out of luck other than finding someone to replace that wifi chip inside the phone

Unfortunately this does not work.
I've tried helping 6 people with grey wifi issue and it did not work (including reflashing the BB bootloader and the BB firmware).
This grey wifi is another item beside the 1011 is just simply hit & miss.
Musclenerd's swifi program helped fix the grey wifi but not all of them.

Use swifi as Dtube said.
If Payload is not working.
Do it manually.
Upload swifi to any folder.
Ssh iPhone.
Give chmod+x swifi
and run it: swifi.
Hold userlf and wait.
Fixed or not to be, thats the question.
Restart and done.

This don't work for the people with bootloader problem.
Normaly i use Ziphone.
Sombody can make tool to veryfie if the bootloader is corupt?
For me work only at first reboot.after this i must rerun swifi.
What method i tryed:
-Virginize(hmm..it is not necesary dowgrade to 1.02
just use on 1.1.4 bbubdater(write 03.14.08_Gbaseband)then run virginizer.sh)
-I restore manul with IBooter macadres an bt adress:
setenv wifiaddr "xx.xx....xb"
saveenv
setenv btaddr "xx.xx..xa"
saveenv
--printenv is not necesary--with this you veryfie if you set the variable.
And for all people is not necesary to use IBooter u can use nvram.
Just ssh on your iphone and give comand:
nvram wifiaddr="xx:xx:xx...xb"
nvram btaddr="xx:xx:xx..xa"
For veryfie just: nvram -p (this will print all variable)
-KIphone use one payload(ieraser)-so you can use direct via ssh or vt-100 terminal with ieraser(in pack put your baseband secpack)
Why?
When i manualy flash the baseband(with bbupdater) i have sound and signal and when i flash the baseband with BootNeuter i don't have sound and signal.
