    Default That German guy claiming 1.1.2 OOTB soft unlock.

    Why is noone talking about that german guy? Heard that he got banned from the forum, what for, and is he really a CCC guy? Niels or something.

    He claims to have unlocked his 1.1.2 OOTB with new bootloader. Seems that it is Week 45.. so aren't there models with the 3.9 bootloader? Was he just one of the lucky guys or is he up to something?

    the thread was closed and the user banned because it was a fake....

    to summarize:

    he tried to sell a unlock...
    But had no idea how his phone was unlocked....
    in a german forum he asked how to read out data from the phone....

    looks like its a hardware unlocked phone he got from china....

    so just BS

    Did you see this video? He seems to be able to lock and unlock the phone from a putty session, without taking the sim card off the phone.

    Iīm new to this iPhone thing, mine is about to arrive next week from Miami. But he may get a point.

    he only disable the comcenter with putty.

    Until now, he still didn't tell us how to soft unlock. This kind of topic appeared thousands of times here.

    No, he took the phone to the guy. They spoke for some time and he (the forum guy) believed he had something. Then, after 2 days, the guy called him back telling he couldnīt unlock his phone because he was having trouble with the law.

    No one is that greedy, if he had something, he would have shared by now.

    This forum should have a filter to NOT let anyone open a thread with "German", ""1.1.2 OOB", and "Unlock" in the same sentence.

    This is getting boring by the minute.
