Unlock ETA and NCK Length
Well I'm back to my original statement that we have to wait for a baseband update to finally unlock the new bootloader. The two exploits I posted have implementation problems. Once we get the new version, iEraser and iUnlocker will work as before. Still only hardware though. I spent the last week and a half of cold Swedish nights looking for more practical exploits, and found none. Perhaps someone cleverer than I will find one?
Also, anyone out there with a legally unlocked phone, either French or German? Could you do me a favor and download this http://lpahome.com/geohot/nckget.rar and follow the enclosed instructions. Its a good way to get your name on the blog

"This is if you have a legally unlocked iPhone.
I can finally determine the NCK length
It cannot have a patched lockdownd, if it does, you need to restore.
Okay:
1. Unrar this file to one directory. You need the dll to be with the progs.
2. Run gshell
3. Type "deactivate"
4. It must say "Unactivated" or your data will be useless
If it says anything else, restore your phone and do not allow iTunes to activate it.
5. Run arecordget
6. E-Mail geohot@gmail.com the a.plist file created by arecordget
thanks for your help

Hello you dont understand what this is...
This is NOT the unlock, he only wants users with a legaly unlocked iphone to run this tool to collect data to understand how the official unlock is done and which parameters in the phone it changes.....
