Arrow Geo's IPSF - Did it work for you?

Having heard from a few people who couldn't get Geo's IPSF working I was wondering what sort of percentages we're dealing with here.

In the 10 or so attempts I've made to unlock it I've been left with several different problems; Sometimes I've been left with the dreaded 044999 IMEI and sometimes left with "Incorrect SIM" for ALL sim's even original AT&T sim.

I was wondering if GeoHot might have some input of this? I have tried so many combinations I think it may be a variation on the phone.

N.B.: I had never modified the seczone before attempting this unlock, only unlocked once the safe AnySIM had been released did I unlock my phone in the first place. I have a 1.0.0 OTB but someone with a 1.1.2 OTB downgraded has had this problem too. It seems to be very strange.

after the initials problem of getting the script to run (its been a long time since i used bash commands on linux/unix/bsd) it worked brilliantly on 1.1.3-3 dev soft upgrade with the 4.0.3 baseband.

i even ran it on an IMEI 049 phone of a friends and now she is up and running with everything working perfectly.

It worked for me, but I did it the long way.

I upgraded to 1.1.3 through iTunes, which updated the baseband. Then restored to 1.1.1, oktoprep and upgraded to 1.1.2. I jailbroke 1.1.3 with the Devteams JB (Version 3). Then used winSCP copy the files to /usr/bin/ipsf folder and ran the script.

Everything worked. Even the signal.app got installed automaticly and runs everytime I reboot my iPhone.

    FYI,

    I used the following guide:

    http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=27983

Also, try to download the 5 iteration of the ********** pack, and make sure to use 1.1.3-3. I've read that Signal.app may not run on reboot with older jailbreak packs (unconfirmed).

Also, I had an anysim 1.2.1u on soft updated 1.1.3 so I virginized with i.unlock.no installer tools before restoring to 1.1.3 with itunes. Then I went through the 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 to softupdate 1.1.3-3. Once all this was done I ran Geo's ipsf tool through terminal. (You'll need to install the 1.1.3 vterm fixes)

Ignore the "Incorrect SIM" error you may get with the 1.1.3 baseband when you are going through the 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 process.

I used it on a either 1.1.3-2 or 1.1.3-3 jb phone.. because I jb on the night they did the update.. and i didnt really look at which version it is..
At first, I got the need to add one to RCA.. sth like that..
Then I remember SoLoR say we just need to restart and try again.
So I restarted and try again. This time, it works. About it reboot the springboard, I got signal already!
I tried to reboot the phone, I still signal automatically.

Thanks geo for developing it, and thanks SoLoR for fixing it
