Fixed Number Dialing Active!!!
Hi guys, this questions had been asked before but nobody answered it till now, i have an unlock iPhone (using Anysim1.02) that work perfectly, our GSM provider has released a new sim card design (maybe a newer generation of simcards) when i try to use it i get this message from my iPhone (Fixed Number Dialing Active) and it dont connect to the network! but using an older SIM card from the same GSM provider works perfectly?!?!
I cant understand why, can you please help?, i am sure its a sim card generation issue, but the iphone is new technology, so it should support it?, and this new card works with any other phone without any problem, (i got the same message from a sony Ericson mobile once)
Please Help!
Thanks,
Fad

I had this issue in the UAE, the carrier was issuing SIM cards with some funky design patterns. I got a replacement SIM and it solved the issue.
So it's a SIM card issue, but not a SIM card "generation" issue.. as I had two cards which were exactly the same except for the machine which was used to write them. If you're lucky, getting a replacement SIM from your carrier will solve the issue (even if you think it looks exactly the same and is the same generation)
Good luck.

Thanks!! I've been having sleepless nights.. It is the twin sim cards "Tawaam" that were the issue. The Etisalat Customer Service is aware of the problem.. if you have an I phone, DO NOT request for a twin sim.
