i searched a lot in the forum but did not find any 100% answer.

Does the new firmware 1.1.2 work with TurboSIM?
Currently I am running 1.1.1 and i want to upgrade.

What do i have to do ?

Only Jailbreak after update with the jailbreak software for 1.1.2 ?

Yes, it works.

But its not easy or simple. You have to do it all to get your iPhone jailbroken with 1.1.2 (downgrade to 1.1.1, OktoPrep, update to 1.1.2, jailbreak, copy patched lockdownd.

After that you have to setup TurboSIM as usual. From there, MobileSMS.app and MobilePhone.app will crash because of the country codes, so they need to be patched.

Adter all that, you'll have a working 1.1.2 (UK). Details about the app's and patches here: http://docs.google.com/View?docid=dgzw9xs_0gfhxns&pli=1 (Section "MobileSMS.app and MobilePhone.app keep crashing"). (Can't post direct link to code.google.com, comes up with '*'s, don't know why)

Ok i live in germany and use a german vodafone sim with turbosim.

The turbosim is already programmed.

So all i have to do is install oktoprep and do the update to 1.1.2 because currently i am on 1.1.1, jailbroken and activated.

After the update i can jailbreak again and use everything as usual with the new firmware right?

Anything forgotten?

I think i do not need to patch mobile.app. I read this information on the website you provided me..
