Hi,

I have unlocked my phone (jailbreaking + activated etc) with using this forum as a guide and I have to thank the people who have posted all the usefull post.
I am not the typical poster asking before using the <searchbutton> I have already used hours trying to find a post that would help me with this question of mine. When I got my phone from the US it was untouched and factoryseald; I used iBrickr, PACAY and wiNstaller to make this work in Norway.



My iPhone run's on

Firmware: 1.0.1 (1C25)
Modem Firmware: 03.14.08_G

The question I am asking:


1. I never updated my phone to firmware 1.0.2 (Should I?) - (and if I do, do I need to do all the jailbreaking activation etc from skratch?)

2. I have a D-link DI-624 wifi: I find it strange that I have to be located in the same room as the D-link to connect my iPhone to it. Do anyone else have the D-link and perhaps an tips on how to get a better range on it?

3. If I have the possibilty to update from firmware 1.0.1 to 1.1.1 without risking to brick the phone, what method would you recommend?
(I am using Windows Vista)
