    Exclamation Error 1011 Important Information

    Hi everyone.

We have been suffering with this error.
You get error 1011 when restoring to 1.1.4 and 160x when restoring to 2.0

    Symptoms:

    No Wi-Fi
    No IMEI
    No phone
    No sound
    No bluetooth
    No Sim Card (iTunes)

This thread is for posting solutions (proved by yourselves) posting with this
    format:

    Bootloader:
    Firmware:
    Solution:

Please, this area is not for discussion, just for solutions that have worked for
    you.

I will start with a cientific explanation.
Based on my investigation, this happens when the seczone is filled with 0xFF,
this will lead you to 1011 and all the symptoms.
Current solutions? Maybe flashing a bootloader.

Go ahead and post what you have done.

    The Freezer methode
Activate your iphone 114. Use pwnage, winpwn, iliberty to do this.
Put auto lock to never en wait till the battery is empty.
Put it in a freezer for 24 hours. After the freezer leave it for 4 days.
Connect after the four days the iPhone to PC or Mac and wait till it is starting up.
Put it in recovery mood en rstore the iPhone with a 2.0 beta not with the 2.0, 2.0.1 or 2.0.2 becauase you get a 16XX error, just use a beta. You will get a 1011 error, thats ok. After that put the iPhone in dfu en restore with fw 1.1.1 At the end you get error 1015, that is ok. Restore to 2.0.2 en use a custom 2.0.2, you can make this custom with pwnage or winpwn, or use quickpwn for Mac or PC.

It worked for me with six iPhones but I have 4 where it was not working.

    Hi,

I've tried the test point several times on different 1011 cases (>30)
Only in two of them it has been succeded: In the first one the solution was using ienew to erase the flash. In the other, the solution was running ieraser to reflash the modified nor.

I believe there are two possible solutions:

    1. The use of ienew or ieraser (3.9 BL only) to rewrite the bootloader or the whole nor
    2. The most probable thing: reprogramming the flash outside the commboard and soldering it again.

@JSN1: According to Musclenerd this problem also occurs when the S-Gold does bootrom->bootloader->baseband in a tight loop (link here) Is the seczone damage also responsible of this?

By the way, the ziphone use is a common denominator in all of the cases I've seen.

Restored (successfully) with error 1011 with original firmware and
with restored successfully to custom firmware.

    No Wi-Fi, still nothing.
