Error 1011 Important Information

I am not glad to tell u that 2.1 wont fix error 1011.
I ieraser my iphone in 2.1 and restored to 2.1 and
same error 1012. (in iTunes 8.0 / 1011 in iTunes 7.)

So bad luck for me.

hi everyone.

just want to share with you one thing.

If someone remembers me I had an iphone with the 1011 problem. I tried everything exept the test point. and nothing worked.

now yesterday I was in NY and I took my bricked Iphone to an Apple Store. (I previously managed to install the official fw 2.0, the installation was obviously unsuccessful).
I told them that I had updated the phone with itunes and the result was a bricked phone and I did not know what to do. After checking that the phone was really unrestorable they swapped it with a new one...

so if anyone with a bricked iphone has the chance to go to the US I suggest u to try it...u might get a new iphone2g...
