Exclamation [Error 1011 & 1012] I'm still working on this (a message to George H.)

    Hi everybody.

I got 2 iPhone with the error 1011.
During the last 2 weeks, I've been working with my own patched version
of gbootloader, I've a lot of different patched version but I think it is not enough.
Basically, if we could flash the bootloader and the baseband again, the iPhone
    should work again.

    What I've done:

    > Patch gbootloader to skip the blank bootrom locations check
    > Patch gbootloader so it can flash a non-patched bootloader

    .......... Please join the project...........

    A message to George H.

    Hi!

    We are stuck with this!!!
You could help us creating a new gbootloader that skips all the checks
and flashes a bl directly? Please help!!!

I have a 1011 error phone as well and I have come to the conclusion that it is indeed the fact that that bootloader is corrupt in some way, and quite possibly the baseband.

    My iPhone's history is:
    1.1.4 OTB BL4.6 Baseband 04.04.05

    My iPhone's symptoms are:
    - Get 1011 error when DFU restoring to FW versions 1.1.1 - 1.2
    - unable to DFU restore to pre 1.1.1 versions (error 1, 5, or 6 i think)
    - able to activate and jailbreak and copy files over (no radio functionality)
    - all radio functionality is greyed out. Get the phone cannot make calls message.

What I've tried to fix this:
    - DFU restore twice to 1.1.1 in a row - didnt work
    - DFU restore while holding down the home button the whole time - didnt work
    - DFU restore up to 1.2 (get error 1011) then down to 1.1.4 (error 1011) then erase baseband then dfu restore again - didnt work
    - run ieraser/ienew with 04.05.01 secpack to erase baseband - didnt work.
    - run the downgrade BL to 3.9 payload in iLiberty - didnt work got stuck at that payload
    - tried running bbupdater -l with 3.9 fls file. - got 10 retries then "bl version to old... message"

So the fact that restoring up to 1.2 didn't give me working baseband. I have come to the conclusion that if my BL was not corrupt then i should have got a working baseband since the version is > then the original baseband version. Since that didnt happen (working radio functionality) then I've come to the fact that my bootloader must be corrupt and possibly maybe or maybe not the baseband as well. Whatever communication that goes on between the bootloader and baseband seems to be corrupted.

    Ok my story so far.

bought an iphone 1.0.2 (i think) after 3 months of having this iphone i got message.
Saying iphone cannot make and receive calls. I restored in itunes and got an error
messgae 1011 (now know to be baseband) no sound no wifi no imei no icci

I used ziphone to do it all and got stuck at ierasing part

Used ieraser got~ waiting for data i had all the files in /usr/bin/ian ieraser secpack the baseband files .eep and .fls

Used winpwn to for costom firmware. use the bootneuter option got stuck on Determing current settings
    used.

    Sping -v
    Result:
Spamming AT, waiting for a response
    baseband is unresponsive to ping

    bbupdater -v
    Result:
    baseband is unresponsive to ping

    bbupdater -e ICE04.04.01_G.eep -f ICE04.04.01_G.fls
    Resetting target..
    Attempt 1
    ProcessOutlineUpdatedrocess time was 10.0 sec.
    Retry attempt 2
    ProcessOutlineUpdatedrocess time was 10.0 sec
    retry attempt 3 etc etc.
Error: Baseband bootloader is too old; update to 1.8 or later and try again
    Done

use winpwn to costom firmware again install a couple of apps this time itunes completed with no errors booted the iphone up to still see that error message

Then used bbreloader~it said baseband was flashed ok and the phone would restart. i did............. still same problem though.

I also use a program that checked your baseband (cant remember what this was called)

it gave me the iphone firmware
    model number
    serial number
on baseband it said present but didnt give me 04.04.01
Further down it said unknown for all the rest like eeprom... bluetooth ...wifi

so my iphone has been like this now for about 6 months so any ideas on what i can do now

    Many thanks

    Ian

Wi-Fi was able to be turned on when downgraded from 2.0 on 1.1.4

I continue working on gbootloader. I'm about to flash a FakeBlank bootloader
with the patched version. Will report progress.
