    Post Erased Baseband

THIS THREAD IS TO HELP PEOPLE WHO HAVE COMPLETELY ERASED THEIR BASEBAND - AND HAVE NO WAY TO RE-FLASH IT TO THEIR PHONES. IF YOU HAVE THIS PROBLEM YOU MAY WELL BE GETTING ERRORS:
    1011 - 1012 (with 1.1.4 restores) and 1603 - 1604 (Fw 2 restores)

BREIF: I originally had a 1.1.2 OTB - hardware unlocked...then upgraded to 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 early this year.
Recently udapted to Fw2 pre-pwnage 2.0 release. Tried to downgrade using all various combinations of iTunes versions and resorted to using KiPhone and erased baseband...it hung up and I switched everything off. Have been getting ERROR 1012 every time on all restores. There is no baseband/imei/iccid/modem firmware/bluetooth/wifi etc...

Used PWNAGE 2.0 to update the phone to a 2 yesterday.... from DFU mode I get error 1604 and from standard recovery mode i get error 1603....

Any ideas on how I can put a new baseband on a phone that is missing one?

P.S. I have already tried to use bbupdater / ienew / iunew / bootneuter / ieraser --- These seem to be useless....

Running pwnage 1.1 and ziphone etc... I often see "Invalid calibration data in device tree" amongst the white scolling text.

You have to downgrade your phone to 1.1.4 . Do it like in this tutorial. Worked for me.

    YOU CAN'T DOWNGRADE FROM NOTHING!!!

please don't post downgrade tutorials...this is obviously not the issue!

We need a method to write a baseband to a blank phone, not downgrade or updgrade...since this is impossible based on their being nothing there now!

This is not an easy problem...NO ONE has solved this issue to date. I have spent over 100 hours searching and contributing on possible solutions...but still nothing.

When you drowngrade with itunes 7.5 the bb will be flashed to 1.1.4 fw bb. Even if the bb is erased. I`ve done it today. The same thing would be with itunes 7.7, but there you get an error. Thats why you use itunes 7.5 . And when you searched for "100" hours why dont you give a try?

This thread has nothing to do with pwnage Tool. I'm going to move it to the "old unlock" section and take out the [PwnageTool 2.0] in the title
