    I used the ModMyIPhone method yesterday and was able to change my carrier specific settings from AT&T to T-Mobile.
    S/W Unlocked: 8Gb iPhone
    Calls In/Out: YES
    SMS In/Out: YES
    F/W: 1.1.4 (4A102)
    Edge : Yes
    YouTube: YES
    Carrier: T-Mobile USA
    Unlock Method: ModMyIPhone - Unlock The IPhone - Easy Unlock [OSX]

    Will this work for Canadian users?

    -nevermind saw the tutorial and it had rogers....going to make one for FIDO!

    Well, for one, *#123# is the number you dial to find out if you're on the Fido network or the expanded network.

    I've created a Fido Carrier Settings. I didn't take a screenshot, but this is what it contains:

    Directory Assistance 411
    Prepaid Account Information *46
    Check Account Balance *28
    Check Expanded Network *#123#

    Customer Care 611

    Fido Online Services
    (Brings you to the english Fido web site)

    wow thanks alot...also did some searching for the fido service # and they don't use the 3 digit service number system anymore....anyways still got it to work none the less but thanks for the post Brennan!
