The iphone was stuck on EDIT HOME SCREEN window, with the DISMISS button cannot be tapped.



I have tried restoring iphone, clean and dfu mode but still with no success, everytime I restore after the JAILBREAK it goes back again to the EDIT HOME SCREEN

When I restore and not do JAILBREAK it is stuck with EMERGENCY CALLS plus ITUNES display SIM CARD not supported,on EMERGENCY CALLS I can press all the numbers, thus giving me an idea that the touchscreen is not broken, so i was puzzled whiy I cannot tap DISMISS on the EDIT HOME SCREEN window.

I have searched for some solutions on the net, I found this : Howto fix the “edit home screen” loop for iPhone | Personal weblog of Robert Beekman, but the problem is I cannot access my phone to go to SSH mode, I cannot connect it to WIFI, because of the EDIT HOME SCREEN.

I tried to downgrade the IPHONE to 1.1.4 but there are erros, I was hoping that if I downgrade the phone and do the UNLOCK I can access the phone.

This is what i was planning, downgrade the phone, do the unlock so SIM CARD can be recognized. Then once I can operate the phone I will do the SSH thing.
