Edge setting not saving under 1.1.1

I have done a search here but cant seem to find anyone else having this issue so far.

My edge settings are not saving under 1.1.1

If i shut the phone down i have to re enter my telstra.wap setting each time. I am using a Turbo Sim and activated via iNdependance so not using a software unlock at this stage.

Is anyone else having this issue?

im having this issue too .. but along with no voicemail notification which is so so anoying

This issue is known. In germany, EDGE is working "out of the box" with my t-mobile sim and firmware 1.1.1.

Really annoying, if you don't use a data flat. So i have to enter some wrong values in EDGE settings to prevent EDGE working.

If you like it to be stored permanently, how about editing the proper file

/private/var/root/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist

by hand?

Its just very strange that 1.02 saved your edge settings without a problem. But it seems 1.1.1 does not save your edge setting and you have to re enter tham after each reboot... not a total killer but still a pain nonetheless.
