i have an otb 1.1.2 upgraded to 1.1.3 and unlucked..there is no edge where i live at..so ihave no internet where there is no wi-fi..but a friend of mine doess have internet everywhere..schould be gprs..but she did not do anything to get the internet..it just works after the unluck..version 1.1.4..anyone know why it doess not work with me..?if there is something i can do for it..have seen more people with it none have done something for it to work..it just doess..?..thank you in advance

Update to 1.1.4 and unlock with one of the actual unlocking solutions.

this has to do with your GSM operator, normally you will need to have the EDGE or GPRS activated for your account.

Call your GSM operator and ask for the GPRS configuration and ask if you have it enabled on your plan.

...and make sure to get a data plan. some operators allow edge/gprs connection but charge you immense. like her in germany i have a separate data plan for o2 that costs me 10euro/200mb per month. i could access gprs even without this plan but that would cost >200euro for 200 mb.
