[EDGE] error after successful unlock
Downloaded a copy of Liberty and it worked first time! Unlocked, jailbreak Perfect!
Only problem i have now which im hoping you guys are familiar with is that when i try to access youtube or safari i getting a "Could not activate EDGE: You are not subscribed to EDGE" then it says cannot connect to YouTube. I'm on O2 UK payandgo. Is this something to do with the EDGE/GPRS settings? Hoping you guys can help me with this. So nearly there! Also is it true that i wont be able to send and recieve emails on the PayandGo O2 sim?
Thanks guys

I have the same problem. What needs to be done to have GPRS (because EDGE speeds I believe are not for pay&go). Also I have noticed that sometimes without me using the phone my balance is reduced ? Do you have any idea why or any similar problem ? * I have used the Pwnage tool

Nope, no idea mate! Thats why im hoping these guys might have an idea.
I've seen posts floating around talking about having to SSH into the phone and edit some settings to allow EDGE and change APN settings... not sure if this is the best way, most current or what the story is now.
Any advice anyone has is much appreciated!

The problem with the EDGE from my understanding is that the EDGE settings are by default the same ones as for those with contract. This is not what you want. To fix this there are many ways - some may work for you some not. I would suggest to you to try the fix on step 8 of this site

In order to reduce costs from EDGE I have disabled it by using Installer and installing BigBoss preferences which allows you to disable EDGE.
My concern is that still I got charged 10p at some random instance. And I do not know why. Did you say that you don't have this random charges ?
