If youtube "somehow" does work after instally anySIM, i wouldn't need to run activate.bat again?

And how come i see people talking about how you need to install "lockdwn" after you install anySIM.
So your guide skips this as this is no use with we use activate.bat.
I assume activate.bat does what "lockdwn" does.

    Thanks again!

The instructions here didn't mention it:

Yeah '(Click here) active.bat' is a script that does all the activation for you. You don't need to worry about lockdwn.

You need to run it after using anySIM as stated in the tutorial. As long as you follow the tutorial step by step, nothing should go wrong.

    Hope that helps!

Man you're awesome! (Just wondering, did you use did exact method for your own iPhone?)

This thread needs to be stickied along with that other non-anySIM method. These two seem to be the best so far!

Um I don't actually have an iPhone. I live in New Zealand and are currently saving up to get one shipped out here.

I just have done alot of reading and understand more or less how the process works. All I have done is tried to make the process easier for others so they can have the freedom of owning an unlocked iPhone.

Just uploaded a updated package with a few refinements made to the tutorial.

    Enjoy!

i've successfully unlocked using this guide. Initially, I get a 'unlock successful' after anySIM has finished running, but after following the next few steps in the guide (inserting my own SIM card, running PACAY again etc. ), the phone was able to detect my network. Sucessfully made some calls

    Good Job!

Good to hear! Have fun with your unlocked iPhone.

Just a quick question, is YouTube working? Just want to make sure my guide is up to scratch

Don't we have to "go back to jail" after you run activate.bat in the near last step to put the phone back in jail? Or could that step just be skipped?

    Thanks
