Hi. before i get flamed from all directions, i have searched and searched and got so many contradicting answers for my situation.

I have a phone that was never unlocked. so i still have and use the at&t sim. In a half drunken state i updated from 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 .

can i use one of the downgrade methods and have phone functions still work? and if so, what set of directions should i follow?

i see numerous people claim that the baseband doesnt need to be reflashed if its a virgin at&t phone. that it will, "just work".

there's also a small blurb in the wiki about it but i'm not sure.

no downgrading does not get the phone to work, sorry! it has been said alot in threads

ipsf may get the phone working again after downgrade, but I haven't tried

that isn't what half of these threads are saying.

Honestly, the best advice is try to read every thread you can about this and made your mind up. No one but you is going to give you better advice. There is a lot of info here, you will find it. Good luck
