Question Downgrading FW 1.1.1 using Windows

Okay I'm planning on buying an iPhone and since I already know how to tell what firmware it has out of the box can anyone help me with how to downgrade the firmware if its using 1.1.1. I have a windows pc and all the instructions from the iphone dev wiki and even this site are for only macs. I have iTunes version 1.4.2.4, should i get the newest version? What tools should I use? I have iBrickr v.8 , PACAY, AppTap, and wiNstaller.

If you can help me on this please message me the info, that way I can easily find it instead of searching the forum. Please include links for any programs or guides. Thanks.

search the forum for a guide, simply

    restore to 1.02 by
You can restore without itunes to restore 1.02 download restore file here

    http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite....8_Restore.ipsw

    then
    turn off phone
hold home button and plug in usb
itunes will start and ask to restore
hold the shift button and click restore
it will ask you for the file, guide it to the downloaded ipsw file
let it restore even after you get an error

    then run apptap

This will only get the ipod function back not the phone functions

this guide will help just leave out the unlock section

Sure, can you still eat by youirself or go pee by yourself or do you need help doing that too?!

Seriously, threads like this one flood the forums with useless stuff, making it harder and harder for people to find information. Can't you READ in god's name, is it really THAT difficult to spend half and hour searching for what you're looking for?

READ first and if you don't understand something ASK. FIRST READ...THEN post. Thanks.

Dude I'm sorry but when I posted this thread that was when the only way to downgrade using this message board was if you owned a mac, so please layoff. And thanks for whoever sent me that link.
