friday i accidentally restored my brand new virgin iphone (1.0.2) to version 1.1.1,
yesterday i downgraded it again to 1.0.2 and i tried to run the Simfree.app but it failed.
i always get "unlock failed. Unable to download firmware."(and yes, i bought a IPSF license) i restored my iphone again to version 1.0.2 but it is still not working.

does anybody knows what's happening here? how can i fix this? or is this not possible to fix?

man, i'm not sure but I don't think that this downgrade thing is 100% accurate

you have the new modem firmware on the phone 04....G this is not supported for unlocking by anyone yet, and it does not downgrade easily. wait untill some new solutions come out, and use it like an ipod till then

The iPhoneSimFree software is compatible with the new baseband. All you need to do is downgrade the firmware and it should work. I would recommend that you retry restoring to version 1.0.2 (starskibe). There's instructions at:
