You can if you do a series of firmware and baseband downgrades. I'm still not sure what the seczone is and how it relates to the baseband, but that needs to be dealt with somehow too. There is a guide somewhere that show a person making an OTB 1.1.2 phone into an unlocked functional 1.1.1 phone. It's just a pain.

only possible if u have 1.1.2 fw AND the old bootloader. If u have the new bl u can't unlock the phone. At least not just yet....

What exactly is the bootloader?
How do I determine my version?Is it part of the firmware or the baseband?
So if the FW or BB is downgraded, will the bootloader automatically also be downgraded?
