Downgrade problems: 1.1.1 with 04.02.13_G??
Ok Folks,
I need some info and quite possibly some help. I have a OTB 1.1.1 which I bought from the US in October and I JB'd it using jailbreakme.com and then anySIM 1.1 to unlock it so I could use it in Cyprus on the local Cytanet/Vodafone network.
After the unlock, I threw away the ATT sim card that came with it, and the phone was working fine in 1.1.1 with BB 04.01.13_G . Last week I decided to upgrade to 1.1.2 using octoprep and then foolishly to 1.1.3 using the official dev team release. The upgrade did not go very smooothly so I wanted to downgrdae back to 1.1.1 and start again. I did the proper downgrade in itunes and I am back to 1.1.1 but I noticed that my firmware is now 04.02.13_G. My question is
(1) can i jailbreak/activate a 1.1.1 with 04.02.13_G using jailbreakme.com and
(2) can I do it without using the original ATT sim card?
Please help!

Yes, you can always downgrade the main firmware. You don't even need to downgrade the baseband if you plan on going to 1.1.2. Just use jailbreakme.com to jailbreak and 1.1.1, install OktoPrep, upgrade to 1.1.2 in iTunes, and use the touchfree jailbreak. Your 1.1.2 unlock should stick, so no need to re-run anySIM.
