Search for the magic mode called DFU. Downgrade could be possible if you get device in this mode.

I was doing the downgrading for a friend when i ran into this error(20) problem.... just make sure the following:
1) upgraded itunes to 7.7
2) uninstall itunes 7.7 and change the name of itunes library in your Music folder
3) install itunes 7.5/7.6...doesn't really matter
4) put your phone in DFU (screen black) not recovery mode(USB+itunes)
5) restore with the (shift/ctrl) way
6) kick phone out of recovery mode
7) run patched ziphone
8) restore again
9) unlock with the usual stuff in here
[B]OTB 1.1.2 Updated to 1.1.3----> 1.1.4
Ziphoned 2.5
Restored to 2.1 ---> QuickPwn 2.1

3.0-->3.1.3

Same problem here,
iTunes does not detect the iphone on DFU nor Restore mode, only in normal mode.
I have tried it on my mac and win and nothing, it looks like its bricked.

20 error means ,You have to uninstall iTunes 7.7 to 7.5.
1600 error means , device dont get in DFU mode.
Restart iPhone and try DFU mode again.

How about a phone that doesn't get into DFU mode?
I have done it before, with other phones, but this one (OTB 1.0.2 4gb) just doesn't.
It currently has FW 2.0 (upgrade by mistake), I'm trying to downgrade to 1.1.4 and can't because of the DFU mode, it doesn't go in.
