Looking at your other posts you have not asked anything that has not been asked dozens of times over.

Ok this is an answer for your question:
1) you have questionS not one question.
2) the Dev team would be lieing if they said yeah sure we can and will unlock the next firmware in 10 inutes or 1 day or 1 week. They are telling you the unlock works for the current firmware and recommend you dont upgrade till the next firmware is cracked. Like updates to cracker softwares and games, they lock and the crackers rack it again, it can be easy and it can be hard but usually it is do-able.
3) This is a community but there alot of new people that come here and they are welcome but they usually come here and expect someone to hold their hand .. THIS IS NOT A DAYCARE!!! all the info is available on the forum .. search for it and then if you dont find a solution post a request.
4) In regards to waiting for it to arrive and buying it well the answer is simple. I myself went through many providers in the past few years and I now have one that I like, I am not bounded by a contract I can suspend my account whenever I want and return whenever i want with no penalties... I refuse to be bound to a new service provider if I buy a phone for full retail price, Also when you try to leave you will be subject to a penalty. So you the consumer loose both ways.

the deal on o2 gives me at £45, 600 mins and 500 texts,

i'm on t-mobile and pay £37.50 a month for full internet, and is a flext tarrif, so more flexible than the fixed o2 ones... (add on £10 if i want wifi, so lets say £47.50, for arguments sake), anyway, i get 602 minutes, 512 texts, and 52 picture messages, for £2.50 more, and i don't have to sign a new contract..

and i dont' like o2, as i don't get good reception at my home address with them, and live in the country, so i doubt their 30% edge coverage will stretch to my home!

What can annoy people is soomeone coming on tot he forums and blindly posting asking questions without even bothering to look anythng up. And with all due respct it seems like this is exactly what you have done. This happens so many times every day that people tend to get tired of posting the same answers over and oer again.

To answer that post -
No the iPhone wont work out of the box, you need to activate and hack it.
No the iPhone wont work with full functionality - with some hacking you get most functions to work - Visual Voicemail will not

Your asking if you should wait. No one can asnwer that for you as most people here have take the leap and started hacking their iPhones for whatever reason. If you can hack it by following all the driections found in this or other forums then wait. if you want FULL functionality then you cant get it - so wait.
