Default Don't flame me for this !!! ....noob question about AnySim 1.1.1

    Hi all,

I hope I don't get burned on my very first post. I am hoping to pick up a new iphone in the next week or so.

With all this information overload regarding unlocking the iphone, I have heard different things from different places/forums. I am still trying to get a DEFINITIVE answer for the following question:

Does using AnySIM 1.1.1 to unlock do any kind of damage to the phone? I am sorry if this has been stated, I just haven't been able to find a definitive answer. Maybe I am looking in the wrong places. I know that IPSF charges a hefty fee for unlocking, but advocates of that method say that it is the only method that does not screw up the basband (?)/ seczone (?) (I have no idea what all this means).

Thanks a lot in advance for bearing with me.

    An iphone noob
