according to geohot the gunlock is

IPSF style unlock w/o touching the seczone.

so i guess its better than his last IPSF unlock style

so does the gunlock works on 3.9 bootloaders or not ???

no it's only for 4.6 bootloader.

so now suddenly it's better to have 4.6 BL lol
