Does DEV 1.1.3 upgrade method change the file structure at all?
Hi,
I have a brick at the moment...
My phone is a UK 1.1.2 OTB, had it jailbreaked and running with TurboSim (Bladox), it was working fine for more than 2 months.
When i tried to upgrade to 1.1.3 using the DEV method i got errors and had to do a restore to 1.1.2.
When i tried the downgrade, jailbreak, oktoprep, upgrade, jailbreak method the jailbreak.jar (or jailbreak.bat) keeps freezing on "Reading Flash".
Before anyone suggests, i do have the auto-lock turned off, i do have the latest version of Java... etc...
So, what i'm wondering is; does the DEV 1.1.3 upgrade method screw with file structure or anything else important that cannot be fixed in a restore?

Hi iMaso,
Thanks for the reply.
I have tried the process many times (more than 10 at this stage) and it always gets stuck on the same step.
When it is reading the Flash it always stops on the same number "125xxxxxx kb"

is it this: 12582912 ???
i googled a bit and found many people reporting this error, one was suggesting to wait at least 5 minutes. but I suppose that you have waited already for much longer.
NONE of those guys asking in all those forums got a reply that would have helped him. this is strange.
just to make sure: when starting the jailbreak, are you on activation screen or in recovery mode?

Yes i think that's the same number!
I've found people with the same problem but nobody with a solution
It's been a few days since i've tried it but i think i had an activation screen when trying to jailbreak.
Do you think a virginize would work?

hi nikimere.
sorry to hear your problem and i'm sorry i don't have an answer for your problem
however i think that if you run VERGINIZER you will only screw you BB
becaus you have a 1.1.1 OTB
if you are willing to try you can upgrade to 1.1.3 (fully via itunes)
and then try to restor to 1.1.1, JB...
however it will upgrade your BB to 1.1.3 also which will make you get a new turbosim.

I dont have a 1.1.1 OTB it's a 1.1.2 OTB... dunno if that changes anything ?
