i have 1.1.1OTB BL 3.9> nate true 1.1.3 > bb update to 4.03.13 (via installer) > anysim 1.1.3 (unlocked).
google locate working.

My queries:

1. Is Nate true 1.1.3 diff' then itunes 1.1.3 in terms of anything !
i heard some kernel difference in 1.1.3 (itunes). also the sms app is very slow in nate true, will updating to 1.1.3 (itunes) fix this !

2. what will happen to the apps, and settings, will they remian intact, as i'm just updating !

I wantmy apps to be there (untouched),
and i have heard, if you upgrade, (and not restore), your apps/games remain untouched,
but i don't see an upgrade option in itunes, as I'm already on 1.1.3 (natetrue).
Do i have to:
(a) shift + (check for update) >1.1.3 file or
(b) shift + (restore) >1.1.3 file

or by following update (if that works), i'll have problems in contacts, wifi etc...
so i should do a restore to 1.1.3, and the ziphone, and unlock, and then re-install 1.1.3,

or basically do i really need a official 1.1.3, as I'm on Nate true 1.1.3, I mean are there any differences,b/w 1.1.3 & nate true 1.1.3 in the first place ?

Nate 1.1.3 is not an actual update... It is something in between 1.1.3 and the firmware you started out from.
The dev team JB is something in between 1.1.3 and 1.1.2.

So basically, yes, they are different from the one updated in itunes. NateJB hangs at times.

Also, as you are currently on 1.1.3, you cannot update... you can just restore. Hence you will have to reinstall the apps. Thats the Shift + Restore to 1.1.3 in itunes.

The only thing according to me which you need to install after the restore is the CallerID patch. The AppSupport Patch for 1.1.3 which is necessary to make it recognise the number format and make that work in India.

and I'm hearing problems, with sms, and mail app in iphone 1.1.3 >unlocked by zibri !

so should i wait a couple of week, to get things sorted out !
and go by the formula, don't fix it, when it ain't broken !
