I have a 1.1.2 jailbroken iPhone. I ran the 1.1.3 dev team update from Installer. It downloaded the ipsw image. then It went through the decrypting image, copying image, installing image writing image and such. Then it rebooted and have me the icon of the USB cable to be plugged into iTunes. Now iTunes says I it needs to be restored in order to be used.

Do I just continue to go on with the restore through iTunes? or did I Ido something wrong?

Yes Some thing has gone wrong... I'd restore back to 1.1.2 again and try to start over.

What BootLoader are you running?

I am not sure. I just went into Installer 3.0 and went to the system tab and then went to the 1.1.3 dev team jailbreak.

Well I'd try ibrickr with the phone as it stands, see if it kicks it out of DFU mode first

If not then I'd start over by restoring back to 1.1.1fw and jailbreak with *#307# process etc.

iBricker did not work. I am going to just restore it. Can you point me in the right direction?

Download the jailbreak.jar for 1.1.2 jailbreak and use that to kick it out of recovery.

iBrickr usually doesn't work for me to kick phones out of recovery mode.

ok, this is weird, I was unable to get ibricker to do anything with it. I held down the power and home button to try to restart it for some reason. I now have a working 1.1.3 iphone. it has the new features but the locate me does not work. the thing I do not understand is that if i look at my carrier logo section, it had my modified carrier name on it (I used MIM to change that). But I have the defualt 1.1.3 screen on it without Installer in the screen.

Any clue?
