ok this is the order i did things in
1.1.1 downgrade/unlock via iunlock

attempt to revirginize, restore to 1.0.2 failed incorrect sim error

attempt to unlock via iunlock failed still incorrect sim after unlock

now ive tried everything upgrading to 1.1.1 downgrading and unlocking nothing will get this phone unlocked again just continues to say incorrect sime please insert unlocked or valid sim. crap dont know what else to do.... looks like you were right geek it was risky but i figured id try it on my other iphone

sorry after the unlock is says iphone must be used with an approved sim

try downgrading to 1.0.2 .. then run through the virginizing guide ... it may solve it unless you've already done that...

exactly what i did downgraded ran virginizer everything looked like it worked fine restored to 1.02 still give me the incorrect sim error so i tried it all over again. now i cant even get the unlock to work after ive downgraded

ok go through the forum i can't remember what post it is.. but there are the at commands that can return 3 different answers and let you know what state of unlock you are in.. because the msg "sorry after the unlock is says iphone must be used with an approved sim" is normal i got that too.. and then i just ran anysim.. but find the at commands and see first..

whats wierd is with my other phone anytime i ran the unlock it would just do it, but now when i try to unlock it says "please insert correct sim" so it does something to the phone but not what im looking for it to do, anytime i finish the unlock it usually shows the the edge symbol and it does that but somethings wrong it doesnt unlock after i run pacay.....

So far what you wrote looks normal... when you revirginize the phone in theory it should be unlocked and working if not is your imei correct?

thatg You were warned before you used it.

see thats what i cant get thats why i cant get a successful unlock it always has that 0449 imei with the sim card in or out

I'm having the same problems ... i had a fully working 1.0.2 thought i had virginized so i upgraded .. unsuccessfull.. downgraded .. followed the revirginized instructions successfully but i still get incorrect sim and an invalid imei
