Correct IMEI number
I have unlocked 3 iphones with the method described in modmyiphone (for MAC) using anysim and the 3 of then have the right IMEI number after de unlock.
So how is that some phones have the 004999010640000 issue?

Assuming that you've used the AnySim method, have you upgraded any of these 3 phones to firmware 1.1.1? I doubt that you have, since this is the IMEI that you'd be seeing right now.
The reason for this is complex, but I provide one possible hypothesis in the thread below entitled "successful 1.1.1. to 1.0.2 downgrade with IPSF." http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=9116

Another one...congratulations, you're just opened up useless thread number 1000. :p The IMEI "issue" is a AnySIM baseband fw mod issue and it appears when software unlocked iPhones are updated to FW 1.1.1 and downgraded again. One reason why no SIM, not even the original AT&T SIM some people have activated with (contract) , works. Is it really THAT difficult to spend 10 minutes using the SEARCH function and reading some related threads/posts?!

I appreciate your work in this forum, but it is so big that sometimes is difficult to search for the right answer. Anyways, next time I will try to search carefully.
