Copying new features from 1.1.1 to 1.0.2?
How about copying the new features such as itunes, double clicking the home button and the tv output from firmware 1.1.1 to 1.0.2 instead of updating

Unfortunatly its not possible to rip them from the new firmware andvput them on a 1.02 flashed phone because we can't even decrypt the firmware yet

-
but once its decrypted can this be done ? instead of going through the toolchain and the unlocking process again?
-
lol, if it was that easy...

at least the itunes application should be as easy as copying the .app folder, thats what i think

Do you know what a question mark is? When you ask something, use a question mark. Otherwise people may be very disappointed when they find out that your thread title is just another "how about" thread with almost the same content out of dozends.
This has been discussed, things aren't that easy, not only from a programming point of view but also from a legal point of view.

so 1.1.1 has the ability to turn off the tv so that we can view movies on our home tv

997TT is everything going on here legal ?? no, i dont think so.

I don't think picking up the goodies from 1.1.1 and injecting it into 1.0.2 is illegal.
As we own the phone and the company as released an update, anyone has the right to pick and choose the features they would like to install on their own phones,
But as said before it is technically difficult.
