    Exclamation constant reboot

    Guys.
I just bought a new iphone a few days ago... i simply plugged it in... ran ibrickr... the iphone showed a green screen... and ibrickr started jail braking it.. i left it alone for 30minutes.. nthing changed.. so shut the iphone, closed ibrickr.. and started the iphone up...

now.. all the iphone does it show the apple logo, show some kernel commands.. and reboot..

when i try to do a restore from itunes, i get an error.. the error is a generic error..

    how do i fix this?!

shut ibrick and itunes, put iphone on restore mode, start iTunes and restore it, if it doesn't work try to reboot pc and do so again. I wouldn't use iBrick to jailbreak by the way..

Dude, you must have a 1.1.2 iPhone.

When you opened ibrickr, and it showed the green screen is that you should restore it using itunes. If i were you, id donwload the 1.1.1 firmware here (http://iphone.unlock.no). Save it anywhere you want.

    Plug your iphone.

Since you got the green screen using ibrickr, then it will always be in restore mode.

So press shift and click restore, and point to the firmware you want to restore (1.1.1fw you downloaded before).

Then it will give you another error. Its Ok.

Open ibrickr, your screen should become red. Click boot the phone.

Now you have a 1.1.1 iphone. So if your iPhone was 1.1.2 Out of the Box, then you cant unlock it. Just jailbreak and you will have an iPod Touch.
