    Default Considering unlocking iPhone

Well I know if I buy an iPhone from Apple and try to unlock it, the warranty will void.

Is it worth it? What happens if a month from now the iPhone has internal problems?

Will I have wasted my money?

If you're A. with AT&T and B. don't care about third-party apps that can be installed on a jailbreaked phone then you shouldn't bother. If you answered "No" to either A or B, you should consider unlocking. If you unlock the phone and something goes wrong after a while, chances are your warranty will be void, so it's basically your call, you have to decide what's more important to you.
