As much as i don't agree with the ethics of how IPSF is making money out of this, it looks like they keep proving the skeptics wrong and truly have the better unlock.

nobody here says that IPSF unlock is worst or better of the Dev/Team's one.

they're different. also is different their ethics and behaviour: after Dev/Team releases the free unlock, they simply DISAPPEAR, leaving tons of "customers" in a middle of a desert road, with bricked/locked phone. Lot of people was really upset, i've personally "rehack" some iPhone of Italian people who've asked for help, also shamed to spread around that they've paid for something now free and NOT WORKING?. No "post sale" support at all, no answer to ANY mail. Just disappears.

And now the're back againg with their claims? Sorry, but at least skeptikism is DUE.

    no sorry, they're scum.

WTF do you mean the Dev Team disappears? They're regularly posting updates on what they're working on. And you're not their "customer" - they release this stuff for free, and it is solely YOUR decision if you're going to install it or not.

scum for some, saint for some, so what. No need to discredit them or discredit the dev team. Let the ones who support the dev team use the free unlock, and let the people who support IPSF use their unlock. And let us all live peacefully. Now is not the time to argue about who's unlock is better, this is the time to support the dev team so we can break into 1.1.1. Whichever unlock is better is useless without jailbreaking 1.1.1 right

another words: do you remenber their claims? is still on IPSF site:

"OUR SOLUTION IS UNIVERSAL AND PROBLEM FREE "

reading the tons of people around here in past days asking for help, now sounds like a "Chef Tony's" ads.

...now looking for "Miracle Blade IPSF 4th series, the migthy one!"

pabbas, i'm not spreading bat reputation to anyone, just commenting out the behaviour of people.

Dev/Team's unlocker - the early version (the one stoled by haRRo, to be more accurate), make lot of mess in people's phone, and also some people here is still waiting for a 1011 error's recovery solution, apparently caused by Dev/Team iUnlocker. But they NEVER disappear like IPSF people. No help, no response to email, no post-sale support at all.

I'm actually an iPSF reseller over at freeit4less.com. I've seen what the Dev Team can do and applaud them. iPSF couldn't work (due to no jailbreak) without them.

However, looks like at the moment that iPSF is a good bit superior to AnySIM in its current state...and iPSF hasn't had to update their unlock to deal with the newer baseband. Interesting.

They emailed me at one point and basically said that their unlock works just like th eunlock provided by AT&T will work. Interesting, huh?

Now what I mean by "work" right now is that iPhones unlocked at 1.0.2, upgraded to 1.1.1, downgraded to 1.0.2 with baseband still left at 4.xx are still unlocked. Yet to find out whether you can buy a 1.1.1 iPhone, downgrade to 1.0.2 main firmware, leave baseband intact and use iPSF to unlock. I'd give someone an iPSF license for this, however we sold out of licenses two days ago and don't think we'll get more till tomorrow.

Any other iSF dealer want to ste in here? 'cuz right now I think we all wanna know whether iPSF will work (as long as another unlock method hasn't been tried). I definitely do.

Can't wait for jailbreak\activation for 1.1.1 personally...being as how I sell a currently working solution provided those two things an OSS unlock matters much less.
