This is bloody wonderful news. I'm in exactly this position (Bootloader 3.9_M3S2 with 04.03.13_G baseband) with an 'accidentally' updated to 1.1.3 phone.

Although I kinda get what the difference between the bootloader and the baseband is, I would really appreciate some basic steps on how to do this process. I'm more than happy to be a guinea pig on this one - I've got an expensive iTouch sitting in front of me at the moment, and I'm lugging around two devices for the time being.

Thx socal, i think im gonna try that. btw: Im Bungholio from the IRC...you tried to help me with my AnySim problem. But I think my bb is broken, cuz I erased it, then tried the bbupdater -e -f stuff, but it hangs. Then I updated it to 1.1.2 and there was a bb. It I think the GSM Sw doesnt works cuz I tried to call 911, but it failed. With my other iPhone (ootb 1.1.2) it works.. So, do you think I should update to 1.1.3, erase the bb, update to 1.1.2??? Do then my bb works? (sry for my bad english..)

iF I understand this...u are telling that every1 who had x.x.x with Bootloader 3.9 and then they updated iPhone to 1.1.3 by mistake and now having 1.1.3 & 04.03.13_G & 3.9 Bl can downgrade back to x.x.x with 04.02.13_G ?

RAW steps should be:

1.1.3 & 04.03.13_G & 3.9 Bl --> shift+restore 1.1.2--> kick out RM with iBrickr ,end up with 1.1.2 & 04.03.13_G & 3.9 Bl ---> run ienew(new ieraser) after it finish shift+restore to 1.1.2---> end up with 1.1.2 & 04.02.13_G & 3.9 Bl. Correct????

^^^ yup. because the new secpack allows ieraser to communicate with the phone and erase the 4.03 baseband. then just restore and boom.

Yes, but the old ieraser worked fine for me.

ienew is for the new 4.6 bootloader I believe
