Thank you
screege,
Are you from Movistar Panama? if you are you need to use 186 as your voice mail number since the iphone will not accept *86 as voicemail.
so the code you need to dial is *5005*86*186# and then Call

To all Movistar customers in Venezuela to set up the voicemail buttom on your unlocked iPhone, the number is 133 so you need to input *5005*86*133# and then call.

End result would be on touch of tab, and it starts giving you voicemail without havine to enter passcode too?
I am on ATT USA charter plan,
Cheers,
I was wondering if anyone has this problem too? I have the VM button working okay, but am still forced to enter a 4 digit passcode to access my voicemail once it dials after I press the voicemail button.
I spoke with ATT, and as I am on the old Blue sim, on the charter plan, I was told by them that passcode request cannot be turned off like the newer ATT sims, so I have to press voicemail, wait a few seconds, then enter on the keypad the 4 digit passcode, and was hoping to be able to modify this somehow and only have to press the voicemail button once, (no passcode) and I could then be inot my voicemail portal, no extra steps.
please let me know if there is a way around this. ATT tells me NO.
Cheers

Is there a way to undo the 5005 code? The reason I ask is that I am on O2 in the UK, and I was wondering whether filling in the blanks for the APN and password on the carrier plist might enable visual voicemail for UK unlocked O2 iPhone customers.
I wanted to undo the 5005 fix so that I can see if my carrier.plist edits worked.
Any help?

Just type *5005*86*# call
This will wipe out the programming
